If you have any questions or concerns about our Mystic boat tours not addressed here, please feel free to contact us.

  • Chevron down Can I pay by credit card or cash the day of the tour?
  • Yes, you can pay using cash or credit/debit card the day of the event.

  • Chevron down How many days a week are the tours available?
  • Tours are available seven days a week (weather permitting). Please navigate to the tour page to see our tour schedule.

  • Chevron down How long are the tours?
  • Depending on the weather, we travel 20-30 miles for a two and a half to three-hour tour. We always work hard to give you the best adventure possible, while keeping your safety in mind. We also offer one-hour tour options.

  • Chevron down How far in advance should we book our tour?
  • The months of June, July, and August can be extremely busy. We recommend securing your tour as soon as you know which date you will be in the area. We are limited to eight people per tour, three times per day, so please keep this in mind when booking.

  • Chevron down Are the boats safe?
  • The boats are designed not only for fun, but with safety in mind. These boats have high density foam pontoons making them virtually unsinkable. Secondly, they turn in such a way as to never flip over. All safety equipment, including life jackets, is included and onboard each boat. We teach first time boaters to navigate the boats with great success!

  • Chevron down What do we need to bring?
  • Sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses are recommended. Beach attire with water shoes, sandals, or flip flops is appropriate. Light jacket is optional when the weather is cool. Although you shouldn’t get soaked, a towel is recommended due to minor splashing.

  • Chevron down Do I need a boater's license?
  • No. But, different states have different laws and if you do have one, please bring it with you. This allows us to venture into other waters.

  • Chevron down What happens in the event of bad weather?
  • We do not go out in rain or dangerous conditions. In the event of bad weather we try to reschedule you to a different day. If we are not able to reschedule, all monies paid will be refunded.

  • Chevron down What is your cancellation policy?
  • If you cancel at least 48 hours prior to your trip, we will give you a 100% refund. Cancellations less than 48 hours prior to the trip will not be refunded.

If we cancel due to weather or other circumstances beyond our control, we will refund 100% of your money. If we cancel, we make every attempt to reschedule. But if we are unable to do so, we refund your money.

  • Chevron down How many people can go on the tour at any one time?
  • We have four boats so we can accommodate a total of eight people per tour. We also offer group bookings for parties of six to eight. Please see our tour page for more info.

  • Chevron down What if we have an odd number of people, like 3 or 5?
  • Two people must be in each boat that goes out on the tour (excluding the guide boat). In the event you have an odd number in your party, one person rides solo. That person must meet the requirements for operating a watercraft (see requirements here). There will be opportunities to switch drivers and riders during the tour.

If a person doesn’t meet eligibility requirements to operate one of our boats, 18 years of age and possessing a valid driver’s license, they are paired with a person from another party.

  • Chevron down How old do you have to be to drive?
  • You must be 18 years old with a valid driver’s license to operate the boat.

  • Chevron down How old do you have to be to ride?
  • Children eight years old and up may ride on the boat with an adult. Life preservers must be worn for all children eight to 15 years old.

  • Chevron down Can we bring snacks and other drinks?
  • You betcha! We provide a small cooler with two bottles of water for each boat. You may bring a small lunch, snacks and other drinks if you would like to. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited during the tour. The driver must be under the legal limit for alcohol to navigate the boat. If a driver appears to be under the influence of alcohol, we have the right to refuse service to them.

  • Chevron down How long before the trip should we arrive?
  • Guests should plan on arriving at least 30 minutes prior to departure time. This allows time to fill out necessary paperwork and complete the informative 15-minute pre-departure safety, operational, and instructional walkthrough.

  • Chevron down Is there a restroom break during the three-hour tour?
  • We strongly suggest you use the facilities at the marina before the trip begins. We do stop at one of several area beaches to allow you a break off the boats. However, there are no traditional facilities on these beaches.

  • Chevron down Is there a weight limit?
  • Yes, there is a 250 lb. weight limit per person for safety reasons.
